From the time we arrived, Cheryl couldn't have been more helpful, from finding us a 1/2 day wine tour at short notice, to making recommendations as to where to visit and nearby restaurants. The room was very comfortable and certainly met our needs.

Breakfast was amazing, one cooked breakfast each morning and continental buffet options. The retreat itself is gorgeous, decor is beautiful and staff so kind. A sense of calm when you enter.

El Grand Mercure Basildene Manor, situado entre jardines paisajistas en la región vinícola de Margaret River, ofrece habitaciones y suites amplias, pileta, solárium y cancha de tenis. It was peaceful, grounds were beautiful, pool was fabulous, had tennis court but didn’t have a chance to use it.

Where to start (in a good way). Travelled with family which included a toddler. The location is relatively secluded up Cape Naturaliste Road, but near the lighthouse and several walking trails. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, toddler loved the huge bathtub that came with the room, complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms, and it was near all the places that we wanted to visit (including all the way to Margaret River town itself)
