The rooms and property are spotless (apart from the inevitable dust in Atacama). The highlight is the host, Xiaolin, who is incredibly helpful and friendly. She clearly cares for the place and her guests and will make sure you have a wonderful stay. I would stay at the Lodge Estación again without any hesitation.

Set in San Pedro de Atacama, Naturalis Hotel offers accommodation in a quite location, featuring free bicycles and an outdoor swimming pool. Hotel Naturalis is so special! We would stay here again for sure. Alex and the team’s hospitality is just amazing, they were there to advise us any time night and day and always with a sense of kindness beyond words. The hotel itself is magical. Only 8 rooms, and each room is its own little hut, it’s the ultimate boutique hotel! The bedroom was large, with storage, a minibar and a spacious bathroom, with great high pressure shower. The cleaning standards are amazing - everything was spotless and the cleaning staff tidied our room as well as cleaning it, we haven’t seen that before. The groundskeepers do an amazing job of keeping the grounds and pool absolutely perfect. It’s like staying in a magic garden in the desert! Breakfast was perfect (a buffet of things like fruits, yogurt, cheeses, meats, cereals, juices, cakes and freshly cooked eggs) and we ate dinner there 3 nights and the food was excellent. We went on the stargazing tour recommended by Alex and it was incredible, shuttle bus picked us up but the location was just a 5 minute drive from our place. The fire area is magical and the 24 hour tea/coffee station was a really nice touch. It’s totally silent at night here and the views of the stars are amazing.
