The entire vibe of Kibayo is chill and positive. The staff is the best! The breakfasts are the best we’ve had in the DR and rate at the top for anyplace we’ve stayed around the world. In the evening, we laid back on beanbags and took in the chill sounds spun by the owner. There was even live music one night. Take the kayak out on the canal that runs through the property. Really fun! We highly recommend Kibayo and plan to return next year.

Natural Cabana is such a beautiful place with lots of plants that you feel like surrounded by nature but still can enjoy cozy room, delicious food and warm service. I spent 4 nights in Natural Cabana. They gave me the most beautiful one bed cabana I think which can see ocean but still keep some privacy. The décor inside is one of the most beautiful cabanas I have ever stayed at this price. It has a nice kitchen, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. I really like its white stone walls which give the room an earthy charm that connects you to the nature. This was my first and only trip that I stayed at one place for a few days without planning any activities and it allowed me to enjoy fully what Natural Cabana offered. The food provided by both restaurants were fabulous. I tried 3 different breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The organic garden salad was so fresh with tasty dressing. The churrasco was very tender and well seasoned. Breakfast were all provided in big portion. I really like traditional breakfast with Dominican salami and Mangú, and also omelette. I took yoga classes in 3 mornings to start a day and it was so nice to be companied by sounds of ocean waves and singing of thrushes and bananaquits. I also tried spa once and I was not sure if it was my imagination but I felt some of the mosquito bites on my legs became smaller and not itchy next day. And yes the only problem was mosquitos so make sure you bring mosquito repellent or you can buy one from their shop. I was so glad to find Natural Cabana and it was the only reason I chose to go to the northern beach because most of resorts in Dominican Republic are very modern and artificial which don’t fit my taste. Natural Cabana provided calm and peace that I was looking for to really clear my mind and recharge for my next life challenge. I really appreciated the staff’s effort to keep it a charming gateway to soothe a traveler’s heart and soul.

After 15 years of travelling throughout the Dominican Republic, this is the best place we have stayed at. Spacious yet small enough to not need a golf cart to go to restaurants and the beach. Beautiful architecture, decor and furnishings. Great food. Perfect beach. Quiet. Friendly.

Activities that can be enjoyed in the surroundings, include cycling, horse riding and fishing. The property offers free parking. I booked Velero Beach Resort for a bachelorette weekend with my girlfriends. The resort offered a penthouse suite that was well-priced and accommodating. Upon arrival, the security guard who was posted on the street made sure we were with the hotel and then let us through. Check-in was firmly at 3 pm but we were able to go to the pool and hotel bar until we wanted to check in. The front desk attendant (Juan) was so nice and welcoming. He gave us all the info we needed and let us know we could come to him for whatever we needed. The room was so clean! I've stayed in other places where the room smells like mold and this hotel did not! The housekeeping staff were equally as nice. One morning my sister was sleeping and I asked that they not go in her room. They were so quiet that she didn't even know anyone came. We also somehow locked ourselves out of our safe. Juan sent someone up that helped us reset the safe and made sure one of us was in the room to reset the safe again, which made us feel safe. The hotel itself is located at the beginning (or end) of the main strip of Cabarete. The beach was clean and we were never bothered by vendors as the hotel beach is blocked by rocks and barricades. The beach is also safer than most other parts bc of the rock barricades, so we were able to swim carefree. We felt safe at all times. The resort also has their own bar and restaurant, which was great. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. You can also order food from the bar and bring it to the pool. Overall, Velero Beach Resort rose above our expectations and I will recommend it to anyone looking to go to Cabarete!

Cabarete Maravilla Eco Lodge Boutique Beach Surf, Kite, Yoga er staðsett í Cabarete, 600 metra frá Encuentro-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og... It was all incredibly great! We had actually booked only 3 nights, but we liked it so much that we stayed a week. The lodge is right on a private beach and in the middle of nature. The food is very good. The staff is great, especially Nando and Freili! The owner Marc is also great, and his four dogs too! We will definitely come back!
