Amazing inn refurbished to a very high standard. The beds were super comfortable and I loved their courtyard. The entire place was beautiful and I could spend hours just sitting there. Food was great the inn - delicious and well cooked. However it would be good to add more options to the breakfast.

I loved the styling of the room, not your usual bland modern hotel at all. I even had a yoga mat! High quality tea and coffee provided in the room and coffee maker. Fresh milk if you wanted it from a fridge by reception. Lovely big shower with good water pressure. Good non-slip flooring in the bathroom which was a good size. Comfy bed, lots of pillows and cushions. Good sized TV. Very friendly staff. The location was perfect for me. Centre of Reading. I arrived by train and it was only a very few minutes walk to the hotel. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by. I expected a bit of noise because the rooms are above the large bar/restaurant. I was on the 2nd floor and apart from the Friday night when there was some sort of Party going on it was quiet in my room (and even then the music had finished by midnight).

I stayed for 1 night as I had to be at the Royal Berkshire Hospital early the next day (it’s just round the corner). I had little expectations as it was purely a bed for the night but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very comfortable and accommodating. The 24 hour staff were friendly and helpful. Food was served in the bar but I chose to eat food I had brought with me in my room, which was a nice option. It was a good stay at a really affordable price. I would recommend.

The pub is tucked away in the quiet Berkshire countryside. The bedrooms are arranged around a private courtyard which has a pretty little garden. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms very comfortable with generous bathrooms. We stayed at the Berkshire Arms for reading festival weekend … we are not campers the hotel was away from reading enough maybe 25 minute drive , our hotel room had a huge comfy bed which after walking and dance round the festival all day was amazing to come back to , and seriously the best shower, hot and powerful ! The staff were all lovely, smilie and helpful at all times .

The place is very posh and cosy. Also it is peaceful and good for relaxing. All the staff are welcoming and helpful I would like to thank Mrs Fidou She made my stay easier and more welcoming I like the Spa , the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the sitting areas in the garden. I also want to thank the guy who is responsible for the house keeping he was very polite and helpful. I had 2 Yoga classes which was amazing with Mr Mark. He answered all my questions about the Yoga. I also want to thank the lady in the spa , she was kind and helpful. If I come back to England , I would defiantly stay there again.

Everything was excellent. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent as was the bar, with the facility to sit outside during this hot weather. The pool and associated facilities were also in great shape. The location is very good, with a 20 minute walk down to the nature reserve and access to the River Kennet. I'll definitely be back here.

Convenient location,2min walk from Windsor & Eton Riverside station. 5min walk to Windsor castle. All of staffs are very kind and warm welcoming for the guests. Their restaurant has amazing river views, kind staffs and best breakfast ever. Very classic English style interior but not feel old.

There were not many local hotels with Christmas night availability, so we weren't expecting much for a 3* place. When we arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the place. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean. The sheets were like new; very crisp and white. The bathroom was gleaming with a big walk-in shower, the towels were fluffy and very white. From the bedroom there were French doors leading to a balcony with a spectacular view of the Thames. We had a very restful sleep and a full English breakfast and buffet before departing for our onward journey. The location is great with easy motorway access, we'll definitely use them again. They deserve more than a 3* rating.

We arrived very early from the airport but the staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful and did not mind. I was also very thankful as the receptionist let me use the spa facilities to shower and change after a long haul flight which was very needed.
