The rooms are tastefully decorated. They were very comfy, despite being in the middle of nature. Attentive staff, picked us up to and fro Rio Dulce. Good food, cold beers. Very refreshing to be able to jump in the river when hot!

El Hotelito Perdido je malý úkryt v džungli uprostřed národního parku Rio Dulce. Jen kousek od oblíbené turistické trasy mezi Livingstonem a městem Rio Dulce, takže je snadno dostupný lodí. Ubytování uprostřed rajské zahrady! Na břehu řeky, s přístavním molem a chodníkem k bungalovům vedoucím mokřinami. K dispozici jsou kanoe, hamaky u řeky i u bungalovů, samoobslužný bar (pivo, nealko, káva). Možnost výletu s průvodcem do 10 km vzdáleného Livingstonu pěšky, na kánoi nebo motorovým člunem. Nebo můžete jen tak lenošit, plavat a pozorovat život na řece...

Hotel Posada Stella Maris nabízí ubytování v destinaci Puerto Barrios. Tento hotel s 5 hvězdičkami nabízí zahradu, sdílený lounge a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar se nachází v destinaci Izabal a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Castillo de San Felipe de Lara je 45 km daleko. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Livingston Resort Hotel se nachází u pláže v destinaci Lívingston a má zahradu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Huge suite with 2 balconies. The kids were very happy to have their own seperate bedrooms! Beautiful and clean pool.

Casa Nostra se nachází v destinaci Lívingston a poskytuje zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Hotel Kangaroo y Restaurante se nachází v destinaci Rio Dulce a poskytuje zahradu, sdílený lounge, bar a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. The hotel is on a peaceful part of the river. The rooms are rustic but nicely done and very clean. We were worried about not having air conditioning but the fan worked well and we slept great. It cools down considerably at night. Shower has hot water and was better thanks shower in Flores. Free pick up and drop off in Rio Dulce with good communication. Meals were excellent and well priced. We used their tour to go up the lake to Livingstone and it was a highlight of our trip. We also rented a kayak to paddle across to the castle and along the river.The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are debating about staying here versus either Rio Dulce or Livingston, we definitely recommend Kangaroo. The towns are not nice to stay in.

Hotel El Reformador se nachází v destinaci Puerto Barrios a nabízí zahradu, terasu, bar a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Staff was super friendly. Incuded breakfast was very good. Great shower with good water pressure.

Banana Palms Hotel se nachází v destinaci Rio Dulce a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. River view, restaurant & amenities were just right!
