Tortugal Boutique River Lodge'i poolsaar asub Rio Dulce jõe ääres 16. sajandist pärit lossi lähedal. Seda ümbritsevad peaaegu pidevad rannatuuled, mis pakuvad jahedat ja värskendavat kohta. What did we like? All of it! The rooms are tastefully decorated. They were very comfy, despite being in the middle of nature. Attentive staff, picked us up to and fro Rio Dulce. Good food, cold beers. Very refreshing to be able to jump in the river when hot!

El Hotelito Perdido on väike džunglipiir, mis asub keset Rio Dulce rahvusparki. This was genuinely the highlight of my 3 weeks in Guatemala. Stunning location, the staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and the owners were so warm and friendly. Couldn't advise more

Aia ja ühise puhkeruumiga viietärnihotell Posada Stella Maris asub Puerto Barrioses. Kohapeal on ka concierge ja laste mänguväljak. Mõnel majutusruumil on merevaatega rõdu. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla, terrassi ja restoraniga Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar asub Izabalis, 45 km kaugusel Castillo de San Felipe de Larast. Tubadel on terrass, kust avaneb vaade jõele. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Aia, terrassi, restorani ja baariga Livingston Resort Hotel asub Lívingstonis. Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega hotell asub North Livingstoni rannast mõne sammu kaugusel ning Capitania rannast 1,4 km kaugusel. Lovely boutique hotel. Loved the unique style of accommodation. Very friendly staff. Probably best value for money so far on the trip.

Lívingstonis asuval majutusasutusel Casa Nostra on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja restoran. Selles kolmetärnihotellis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, toateenindus ja ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt. Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Aia, ühise puhkeruumi, restorani ja baariga hotell Kangaroo y Restaurante asub Rio Dulces. Majutusasutuses on toateenindus, concierge ja valuutavahetus. Hotelli tubadel on jõevaatega terrass. The hotel is on a peaceful part of the river. The rooms are rustic but nicely done and very clean. We were worried about not having air conditioning but the fan worked well and we slept great. It cools down considerably at night. Shower has hot water and was better thanks shower in Flores. Free pick up and drop off in Rio Dulce with good communication. Meals were excellent and well priced. We used their tour to go up the lake to Livingstone and it was a highlight of our trip. We also rented a kayak to paddle across to the castle and along the river.The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are debating about staying here versus either Rio Dulce or Livingston, we definitely recommend Kangaroo. The towns are not nice to stay in.

The location is really good because it's within walking distance to town and the boat to/from puerto barrios and also because it's by the water - it's got its own private dock where you can get picked up for boat tours both to playa blanca and río dulce. They serve good vegan options at the restaurant, although slightly pricey, very convenient. The rooms are hut like, very nice. Staff were good with booking tours/transport for us. There's a nice food place right in front of the main door with a lovely couple serving cheap local food.

Välibasseini, tasuta privaatse parkimise, aia ja ühise puhkeruumiga hotell Banana Palms asub Rio Dulces, 1,1 km kaugusel Castillo de San Felipe de Larast. River view, restaurant & amenities were just right!
