We loved everything, El Picnic is a little piece of paradise on Lake Atitlan. The location is incredibly peaceful with panoramic views of the lake and volcanoes. The tent was the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and outdoor living. Gaby and Jochen are excellent hosts and the food was incredible, the cocktails were brilliant too. We got a tuktuk to and from the pier arranged by Gaby and we were glad we did it would have been an interesting walk with our bags! We wished we had booked for longer, one night wasn't enough. We did actually try to book again a night after we left but they were fully booked, which was no surprise!

Everything was exceptional. Rooms, view, staff, food. Every time we had a question staff would deal with it right away and be extremely helpful. Great hotel to get away for a couple of days! Internet in the rooms works slowly, but the restaurant one is great and I could even get work done.

The room was marvellous, spacious, with a hammock- terrace with direct view over the lake and to the volcanoes. Would have stayed mach longer if I could... a good place to forget time. And last but absolutely not least: everyone working there was family-like wonderful... thanks so much.

Our experience was truly amazing. Food is good, but no amazing but is always well presented. You cant miss the JC french toast, that is the best french toaste ive ever had. Wine list is small but good. Juan Carlos, Ariel y Maria were wonderful
