This is a small family run guest house. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were offered orange juice and homemade cheesecake. The family is very friendly and helpful - you can feel that they want you to enjoy the stay. Our room was very clean and spacious and had a balcony to view the spectacular bay in front of the hotel. It is maybe 400 yards from the trailhead for Onigajo - part of the UNESCO site. It has many spots along a 1km pathway that hugs the cliff, to take photos, or just appreciate the view If you need to wash clothes, there is a laundromat in the hotel opposite - just to the right of the vending machine.

The service is excellent. Especially Mr Matsumoto Yuto who has been very helpful and his service to us not only in detail but also with passion. Matsumoto san had made extra effort to translate our daily Kaiseki menu in English and also patiently explained to us the food, as well as the sake. He was cheerful and fun as well. Absolutely beautiful resort on the top of a hill. Amazing ocean views. Tons of stuff for kids like ping pong, games room, even karaoke. Be sure to sit on the open air patio for the ashi-no-yu foot bath. Nice yukatas to wear when you go to onsen. Excellent variety at breakfast buffet. We stayed here after visiting Ise Jingu
