The real highlight was Claude who went above and beyond to have our first night in Sri Lanka a memorable one. He prepared a wonderful dinner that was fine dining style and we ate twice in a row. We loved the rooms and high ceilings, had a very rustic feel and it was comfortable. Good hot showers as well and cosy place.

He could not have done more for us. No expense has been spared on the quality finishes of this establishment. The views are great, the breakfasts enormous. Highly recommended.

First of all, the location of this hotel is top class. I mean you can't get a better view of the whole town anywhere else. It's right in middle of tea farms. Even if you don't want to do anything throughout the day, you can just sit at the hotel, enjoy the view and relax. Single tree view point is just 20-25 mins walk from here. The lake and the city center is also just 1.5km from here. The place is run by 2 friends who are a great hosts. If you have time, do spend some time talking with them. For food, you have Pizza Hut, super market and couple of food trucks at 10 min walk. If you are planning to go to Horton's National Park, then the owners can arrange the tuk tuk or taxi(whatever you need). It's better if you start early around 5a.m

Wonderful food, fantastic hospitality, an amazing house with breathtaking views over farms, tea plantations and mountains. The room had everything we needed including great Wi-Fi. The location was perfect for us being more peaceful than in the town centre, but equally not too far either. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!! We didn’t want to leave and wish we could have stayed longer! P.s the chef is also amazing - we had a great dinner and breakfast made from the most fresh ingredients grown on their farm.
