Set in Udawalawe, 2.5 km from Udawalawe National Park, Ali Weta Safari Resort offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a shared lounge. The manager of the resort was amazing. He sent for a bottle of wine and beer for us for our meals at the resort. Room was so comfortable, bed and pillows were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Pool was so nice. Very close to the entrance to the park although we saw few animals the day we went. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner at the restaurant. Wonderful meals..resort is only 1 year old. Would definitely stay here again!

Set in Udawalawe, Vimanra Udawalawa features a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The property is 13 km from Udawalawe National Park. Remote and surrounded by nature. Was wonderful to peacefully wake up to the sound of birds. The dinners were great tasting and well presented. I was welcomed warmly and treated very kindly during my 2 night stay. The hotel arranged transport for me to and then from the hotel with a great local driver, Posheeter. The safari tour they arranged was with a great guide Nishander, he seemed very experienced and I saw lots of elephants, monkeys, mongeese, deer etc. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature.

It was the perfect place to relax, have some privacy and quiet time and visiting the national park. The in house food was very delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this accommodation! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. It's definitely a kid-friendly place, and they made sure our little ones had a blast. The safari they organized was breathtaking, and the jungle garden with its beautiful flowers, plants, and fruits was a delight, especially for the children who got to try some of the fruits. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was the only place we stayed in Sri Lanka with consistent hot water for showering. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Uda Walawe!
