Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. We booked the tower suite because we thought our daughter would love to stay in a "castle." We were not disappointed, and the castle was just the start. The hosts were very welcoming, even letting our kids play with some of their family's toys. The stars at night were the best we saw on our trip. The food was good, typical Moroccan cuisine, not considerably better or worse than any others we had. I would definitely recommend staying more than one night - there was so much to do and explore in the area, we didn't feel like we really got to experience it fully.

The hotel is located in one of the most spectacular places ever. From our room we had an amazing view on the monkey fingers, part of the gorge du Dades. Dinner and breakfast were both really nice. The swimming pool on the roof top was a plus. The highest score, however, goes to the guided hiking to the gorge that the manager of the hotel helped organise for us. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would for sure recommend this beautiful riad to anyone. Thank you again!

Situated 18 km on the road of the Dades Gorges in Boumalne, Auberge La Vallée des Figues boasts a terrace overlooking the mountains and valleys. I couldn't recommended this place enough We arrived around 6pm and met bob who worked there. Once settled in to our upgraded room, we went out for an absolutely stunning walk over the river past some villages (on Bob's recommendation) On returning bobs mother cooked us an absolute feast - vegetable tagine with beef and chicken. In the morning we walked up the monkey finger gorge before another filling breakfast (I think this may have been our best breakfast in Morocco)
