We went to the Residence at Dhigurah for our honeymoon, it was simply superb. Each villa has a private pool, which was perfect for us and our infant son, and we stayed in a sunset villa for a week followed by a lagoon villa for a week. The views from both were phenomenal, the villas were clean and furnished impecably. The food is sensational and considering you have access to multiple dining rooms and bars across Dhigurah and Falhumaafushi, you never get bored as can pick and choose where to have breakfast and dinner. As Maldives islands go, it's pretty expansive in that respect. Staff were extremely friendly, thoughtful, remembered what coffees and wines we were drinking with breakfast and dinner respectively, always lavishing attention on our infant son including getting him fruit and bespoke baby dishes directly from the chef. Overall, it was the best holiday we have ever been on, and we would love to return in future to reminisce about how wonderful our honeymoon was.

Offering an outdoor pool, kids pool and water sports facilities, NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort is set in Thinadhoo in the Gaafu Atoll Region. The one hour internal flight to the Amari Havodda island made me initially hesitate due to the extra cost and time however, it was well worth it and the team at Amari Havodda made the transfer so smooth. We were met at the airport and helped with the transfer flight, fortunately only having to wait for an hour. Arriving at the local airport, we were again met and quickly brought to the waiting speed boat. 20 minutes and we arrived at the stunning island. The attention to detail and level of service is outstanding. The island is immaculate and everything you dream of for a paradise island vacation. Do not hesitate to book Amari Havodda, everything is literally perfect and we plan to return as soon as we can.

Pullman Maldives Maamutaa is located in southern Maldives in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, set amidst a welcoming forest and a natural lake, a resort with two aqua villas featuring underwater bedrooms. This place is breath taking. Everything from our room to the staff and food were excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Where do I begin? from the moment you arrive in Male this hotel takes really good care of you. I guess that's a given when you sort out ur transfer with them. The surprises was they did the same when we were leaving. We had assistants from the hotel escorting us and guiding us through the entire process. The hotel was magical. Its a smaller resort with not too many villas so you really feel like you're staying almost at a boutique type resort. You feel very important and the staff were super generous and welcoming. The reef around the island is one of the only natural coral reefs left in the maldives and the marine life there really is exceptional. I did the scuba discovery course and my instructor was super professional and helpful. Honestly i cant even say this hotel was 5 stars because the service we got was way beyond that and more.

Set in Gaafu Alif Atoll, ROBINSON MALDIVES features bungalows and villas with spa tubs, terraces and outdoor rain showers. Free snorkelling equipment is provided. Free WIFI is available. The service, food, location, stay, etc was extremely good. There are minor nitpicks I could make here and there (e.g. it took 30 seconds longer than I'd have liked for a coffee at one point, haha) but Robinson's is amazing. I'm writing this review right now from the Dominican Republic, where I'm staying this week for a conference, and the entire time I've been wishing I was back in Maldives at Robinson's. If it weren't so far from me in the USA, this would be my go-to destination, and Maldives in particular. Staying in the beach/ocean villas is absolutely the right choice--the ones on the water are hot as hades during the day, they're far from everything too, and the garden ones you don't get the private beach walkout and the savings isn't enough to justify the sacrifice of feeling like you own your own slice of paradise.
