El Arebbusch Travel Lodge está situado en un terreno grande junto al río seco Arebbusch, a 5 km del centro de Windhoek. On late arrival, we ordered room service, wow what a surprise. Super service with good and tasty meals and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. As a family we had our Room service dinner outside on the veranda. We will stay there on our return journey as well. To the security that was on duty, thank you for patrolling on a regular basis, we appreciate it very much. ALL STAFF WE DELT WITH - YOU ALL ROCK. El Naankuse Lodge se encuentra en Windhoek y ofrece restaurante, pileta al aire libre, bar y salón compartido. Ofrece habitaciones familiares y terraza. Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

Nosotros solo lo utilizamos como noche de paso, ya que veníamos de Etosha y al día siguiente cogiamos vuelo de vuelta. Está situado en una muy buena zona. La terraza es muy bonita. En general todo muy bien
