Offering an outdoor pool, 2 restaurants, 1 bar and private beach access, Oure Lodge Beach Resort is located near Vao in Kanumera Bay. Place was gorgeous, quiet and relaxing. Room was excellent.
Le Méridien Ile des Pins

Set alongside the beautiful lagoon of Oro Bay, Le Méridien Ile des Pins Resort offers direct beach access, a swimming pool and a day spa. All accommodations offer a private patio or balcony. Our room along the river was large, clean comfortable with a fantastic view of the water. Breakfast was great. Lots of turtles in the bay. We also had nice massages.

From $268 per nightThe location is superb. This is one of the prime spots on the Isle of Pines and Oro Bay is directly outside. The Piscine Naturelle d’Oro is only a few minutes drive away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was easy to rent a car and organise activities. The food was generally good (see below for an exception to this). It's really the only resort type place on the Isle of Pines.
