Located in Tuddal, 7.2 miles from Gaustatoppen, Tuddal Høyfjellshotel provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We came to Norway from New York for a family trip across country from Oslo to Bergen in April 2023 and we had booked in for a night at Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to break up the drive. It was our first trip to Norway and had no idea that we were going to have one of the absolute best experiences of the entire trip together there. The place is simply beautiful. The people there are incredibly attentive and helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast is world class. The location is stunning. As a personal side note to the owners: My father came to the U.S. from Kongsberg when he was in his very early 20’s and started his new life and family. Growing up in Southern California where my brother and I were exposed to a lot of the antique Scandinavian items, colors, and style. My father was a committed collector at flea markets and swap meets everywhere, and anytime he came across an old collectible related to his homeland, he would proudly bring it home and share the story of it with us, and then find a place to display it in their home. When we came into the main building to check in to our rooms, I told my 17 and 20 year old daughters, “this…this is the story your Grandfather was trying tell us with all those things”.

Located next to Sandefjord Harbor, this hotel offers free WiFi and free swimming pool access. Scandic Park Sandefjord is 10 minutes' walk from Sandefjord Train Station. Torp Airport is 4.3 mi away. It was a great stay, a shame we only spend one night here. The location is fantastic, we had a view on the park outside. Breakfast is just astonishing, plenty of choice - for vegans too. It was such a wonderful stay, would highly recommend it!

Hotel Kong Carl - Unike Hoteller is located in the coastal city of Sandefjord, 500 ft from Torget Square. It combines old world charm with modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi. Beautiful hotel with big clean room and bathroom.Excellent and tasty breakfast! Very kind and helpfull people. the young man in the recepsion gave as all information we needed.

Located in Horten, a 9-minute walk from Rørestrand Beach, RS Noatun has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The breakfast was standard but good. Everything else was great.

Lifjellstua has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Lifjell. Offering a bar, the property is located within 6.3 miles of Bø Sommarland. Location, simplicity. I would definitely go again and recommend!

Featuring an in-house hair and beauty shop, the self-service Wilhelmsen House offers central accommodations in Tønsberg. The property is a 5-minute walk to public transport. Having all the entry codes and administration sorted out by email in advance was really good: the ability to just walk straight to my room without any sort of in person check-in was really appreciated after a long journey. The gym was an unexpected bonus, which I was fortunately in a position to take advantage of. Also, the fact that all local takeaways seem to know where it is and are happy to deliver there removed a lot of decision making.
