Tides Hotel is located on the banks of Maitai River, in the centre of Nelson. It features a restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi access. On-site parking is available. The staff I met in reception and breakfast room were very helpful! Two problems ,too big bicycle (rented), early departure before breakfast were solved with a smile. Bicycle swapped within minutes and breakfast in containers by the sweet "breakfast hostess" Also the reception woman helped me book my transport from Nelson to Kaiteriteri. Allinall superb staff!
