Treetop B&B features free WiFi and complimentary in-room breakfast. All rooms have a patio with magnificent views of the garden, mountains and the sea. The room is out of my expectation and it looks better than the photo in booking.com. It is in the ground floor which next to the host work shop. The room with good privacy and no one will pass through it indeed. Also the setting in the room is very comfortable and with a window. When we arrive, the host is not in there. We check in ourselves without difficulties. The breakfast is also prepared in the room and we can make our own breakfast in next morning. A good restaurant is in the town and we walk down from there without problem (I have a car but I would like to drink some wine so I didn't drive). We meet our host when we walk down to the restaurant and we have a good chat. But if you are not good in walking then you can drive to there. p.s. Otago Peninsula is really a beautiful place that I haven't though about, I really recommended to stay in there for 1 night so you could have plenty of time for sight seeing.

Offering garden views, Portobello Settler's Cottage is an accommodation situated in Portobello, 23 km from Taieri Gorge Railway and 24 km from Forsyth Barr Stadium. A charming cottage, comfortably appointed and with so much character. Super quiet at night, we thought it was a great base from which to explore the Otago Peninsula, handy for the albatross colony and penguins, and close to Portobello for grocery shopping and dining. The lovely garden was in its summer glory, full of flowers and herbs and vegetables which we were encouraged to use during our stay. Cooking facilities were simple but effective and we were nice and warm on a coolish night. Really delightful, we'd stay again.

Boasting a garden and harbour views, Roselle Farm Cottage features accommodation in Portobello with free WiFi and garden views. Very good size of cottage, had everything you needed. Very good location in the middle of the peninsula. Lovely to have the sheep come up to the balcony and being able to feed them (our kid loved it). Loved the farm experience, the peace and quiet and the lovely reception by our host Paula. She was even so kind to babysit our 1.5yr old so we could do an evening activity. Also very good tips for activities!

Situated within the grounds of the impressive Larnach Castle, Larnach Lodge offers individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views of the harbour and the Otago Peninsula Offering... We had 2 room types - one at the Lodge and one in the Stables. All the rooms were beautiful and the rooms in the lodge had stunning rooms and beautiful bathrooms with excellent shower facilities. Views from the rooms were spectacular especially when the mist came in - it was literally staying in the clouds. The rooms at the stables had shared bathrooms but there were enough cubicles so there was no situation of long queues. The refrigerators were well stocked with milk for coffee and tea. Rooms at the stable gave the vibe of living in an attic. The chef's dinner is a nice touch and I do recommend to add that to your stay. As we went out the next 2 days, we didn't have a chance to try the afternoon tea. A good breakfast spread - eggs, bread, bacons, cereals, yoghurt and fruits. The gardens are beautiful with little nooks for you to sit an enjoy nature. Because you stay here, you get to explore the main castle without any additional charge.
