I have read some reviews but most “flaws” are taken care of. Rooms are big and shower was hot with good water pressure. WiFi was perfect as all room have their own router now. Food in restaurant was very good (and must say we are quite critical). Like the bacon at breakfast was perfectly crispy or the caper sauce served with the tuna steak was very tasteful. But most important is that you can see that the people who work there are happy and having fun together. They are very kind and helpful (but not in the submissive way!) and speak very well English.

I cannot simply describe how I am satisfied with my stay at the Epic Suits (I believe the name is also Bohol Social Club) Rooms Large, clean, with hot water, well decorated, and cool as outside is so hot. We wanted to spend the whole day in the room only :) for girls: there is a great hairdryer in the room, also weight and Netflix (who is interested) Services They have a really great organized room service: you could ping them anytime (use a mobile in the room and chat with the concierge). The common swimming pool, gym and spa. You could order a massage in the spa (what I did) and I can say it was the best massage in the Philippines I have Animals What the owner does in order to help animals is huge! I adore people who do something meaningful in life, help hopeless animals in need...my big respect! Concept Yes I like the concept - adults only :) even if you're a parent don't lie yourself, time to time you want to stay in a place without kids crying and making mess around Personnel I see a huge managers work here, the organization is on the high level, however without the best staff it wouldn't be possible. The personel/team is just AMAZING! Guys you are sooo great, you made our stay unforgettable. So much care, smiles, attention, politeness and kidneys. You are the real precious of the hotel! It's not like just you want to come back, it's like you don't want to leave! We wanted to explore Panglao, instead we spend the whole time in the resort :) that's how great it was! Thank you a lot for the unforgettable experience!

Nice pool and garden, really cousy and clean room, very good food in restoran, host was really polite and friendly, she organized all trips for us and we had best time :)

The staff was attentive and friendly. Even tough the place is on the quiet side of the island, major locations can easily be reached within 15 minutes. We highly recommend this place, especially to (free)divers.

Very nice and quiet place, perfect hotel to escape all the noise and relax. Breakfast was nice, hotel restaurant serves delicious food. WiFi works well; gym has a beautiful view and has enough equipment to get a workout in; spa was great and very good pricing; game room is also located in a nice place - beautiful views while playing some games. All the area is looked after and very green. Cave was a nice experience. Tennis court is well looked after. We loved our stay and wish we stayed a bit longer.

MARQIS is wholesome rest in a luxurious resort on a hilltop, quiet sleep, perfect ocean view, clean sheets, toilet n bath (including hot spa), varied plants sprouting on both sides of the walk to the rooms.. delicious free breakfast, meals à la carte prepared by almost Michelin chefs… to top it all.. STAFF and CREW are prompt, honest, congenial and happy to serve anytime!… This is that piece of Paradise!! I loved everything about this property. In fact, my entire trip to the Philippines was planned around this one resort stay for three days. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The staff was superb, and the food was amazing at the restaurant I booked two excursions with Troy, paddle boarding with fireflies and paddle boarding the river. He was exceptional. I also had a massage as well, which was outstanding.

We started off on the wrong foot when arriving here because we had booked pool view rooms without being aware that the pool was being renovated. This seems to be a Booking problem so please be advised that the main pool is an active construction site until at least February 2024. It seems other platforms correctly reflect this information while Booking did not. The staff was extremely accommodating and understood our surprise and problems with having a front view to the construction. They were able to find a different room for us which satisfied our needs and provided extra perks to make up for the fact that it was a room category downgrade. From this point on our stay was great. The breakfast selection was quite good and we liked the sikwate a lot. We also took advantage of the complimentary snorkeling masks and kaiak to explore the coral reefs which were right off the shore. The variety of marine life present here was quite stunning. All in all, despite the initial awkwardness, we ended up having a very relaxing time here and would gladly come back to see how the pool looks when the construction is finished.

Very nice room and friendly staff. The food was very good. (Only the pizza was a bit too long in the oven. A mishap I guess.) The prices at the restaurant are very reasonable. If you want to relax at a nice beach and enjoy your time, go to this hotel. Especially if you like European/Western standards. The place isn't overcrowded at all. As a bonus: The bed was very comfy and huge. It was 3 meters in width! (The largest bed I have seen so far.)
