Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. We had a very comfortable room with a breathtaking view over the mountains. A delicious breakfast.

It provides free WiFi and a free sauna and relaxation area. הצוות היה מקסים ומאוד עוזר עם מידע לגבי התחבורה והסביבה. הזמנתי מיטה בדורמס אבל שודרגתי לחדר פרטי כייפי למשך כל השהות שלי! ארוחת בוקר מגוונת וטעימה, בחיים לא ראיתי ארוחת בוקר כזו מושקעת בהוסטל :) יש במקום מטבח מאובזר לשימוש האורחים וכן סאונה, אינטרנט מעולה, אזור ישיבה עם מוזיקה נעימה וחנות עם מוצרים בסיסיים. באמת כל מה שצריך לחופשה מושלמת. ממש נהניתי!

Located a 10-minute drive from central Kiruna, this hotel offers free WiFi, regional cuisine and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. I’m not sure why this place isn’t rated higher. It’s a nice hotel with spacious rooms and even has heated bathroom floors. There is also a really great restaurant on site.
