And falling snow - what more can I add! Walking distance from the outdoor Sami Museum- really walking distance as i have sciatica and lower back pain and i managed it in heavy snow boots. . We went down there twice as the people there were so welcoming. We made sami flat bread over a roaring fire one day and went back for lunch the next day, highly recommended.

Loved everything. The room was quiet and comfortable, restaurant with GF and LF options and portions were big. Very good breakfast. Sauna, library with interesting books. Many hiking trails available from the doorstep.

SPiS Hotel & Hostel is just 492 feet from Kiruna’s main street, Föreningsgatan. It provides free WiFi and a free sauna and relaxation area. I had the best breakfast ever in the hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
