Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. The location could not be better! It was right where you want to be! Walk to everything worth seeing.

Located in Uppsala city centre, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi. This was my second stay at Clarion Collection and I highly recommend it! The rooms are a decent size, comfortable, clean, and warm. The 24-hour reception service is great, and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with a lot of options, and the included dinner is also excellent. The hotel bar and lobby area is also comfortable and a nice place to meet. Location is also great - only a couple of minutes walk from the main train and bus terminal, and less than 10 mins walk into the city centre. Unfortunately the sauna and gym area was undergoing renovations this time, but from my previous visit I know that's it's really nice.
