The decor, the setting, the comfortable bed, the staff, the breakfast and the fact the chef created a five course vegetarian dinner for us “off menu” that was out of this world delicious. This is a wonderful place to rest and recharge or to use as a base for exploring lakes and mountains.

Breakfast was so lovely, we also had the set dinner on one of our nights and I'd really recommend! The waiter spoke to us about the various wines and gave great recommendations! So good that we got more of it the next night! The hotel itself is located very close to one of the hikes we had on our list to do, and had free parking outside of you have a rental car. Also a great location for flying in and out of the capital etc.

Hotel Jezero is centrally located by the Bohinj Lake, in the heart of the Julian Alps, where you can fill your lungs with fresh mountain air and admire superb sunsets over the mountains. The staff were outstanding. Extremely helpful and resourceful to answer our questions and help us with logistical planning. There is a pool and ping pong table. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect. Right next to the bus stop. Our balcony had a nice view of the lake and mountains.
