Set in Škofja Loka, Hotel Zamorc offers 4-star accommodation with a terrace. Featuring a garden, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The owners of this small hotel are the most friendly, caring and engaged hotel hosts (owners & operators at the same time) I've ever met. They were super helpful, outgoing, flexible. They provided us with a lot of advise regarding what to visit, where to it, what to avoid. They gave us a good bike map. The owner help me with a flat tire without even asking him for it. True friends for their guests. The hotel has a very boutique style, just 10 or so rooms, small room for breakfasts. Everything clean, nicely decorated with good quality furniture - combination of modern and rustic. Air conditioning worked well and helped us keep the temperature at the proper level despite >30 deg C outside every day. There was a storage place for bikes, charging stations for electric cars and sockets for charging ebikes. The hotel is located at the edge of the Old Town of Skofja Loka - restaurants, shops, castle, etc. - all within short walking distance. The selection during the breakfast was not big, but everything provided was of a very good quality. When we asked the owner for a warm sausages (not only eggs), they started providing in from the next day. I brought once my own grapes to mix them with jogurt (normally they provided peach, banana and apples) and when the owner noticed it, they started providing also grapes for all the guests. They really cared.

He prepares breakfast every morning in the beautiful basement and greets every guest with a warm welcome He has a vast knowledge of the local history and gladly likes to tell about it He also provides great information about where to go and what to see, not only in Skofja Loka, but pretty much anywhere in Slovenia We loved hearing about the history of Slovenia and getting good advice on where to go We ate at several of the places he recommended in nearby small towns and they were all excellent We truly miss our interaction with him every morning

I loved this modern hotel! The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, the breakfast was diversified and tasty. The little town of skofja loka is walking distance, Bled lake is a 35 minute drive, Ljubljana is a 20 minute trip by car. We will surely come back here when coming back to beautiful Slovenia ☺️

After a long way driving, i felt so blessed that I chose this place for my stay. Never before I have met such genuine hospitality in my life. The owners are simply lovely and all their kindness comes purely from their heart, something not very easy to find so authentic nowadays. The location of the place itself is the ultimate paradise, with a lot of different gardens around that the owners take care of, horses and a pony! generally a very peaceful environment. They even have a restaurant above the rooms with all the bio products coming from their gardens! They offer really delicious dishes. The infrastructure of the property is modern, new, with a wonderful view, cozy rooms, extremely clean and unique decorated. Can't wait to visit again this hidden gem of Slovenia. Thank you so much for everything, you made me fall in love with this special area of the countryside !
