The breakfast was excellent. It was limited, so, no buffet. But the Modeva is a boutique hotel and I wouldn't expect one; similar to a continental breakfast, but with added fresh fruit. The staff also went out and bought a particular Thai breakfast dish for me. The room had a Sharp flatscreen and major channels; Youtube, Netflix, etc. unlike other good resorts which only have Thai channels. This hotel's real bonus though, is the garden and pool, because they are so child friendly––toys, games, playground, sandpit, inflatables––very fun for my son :)

The photos don’t do this place justice. The views from the rafts are phenomenal. You can sunbathe or lay in bed and watch the river flow by, it’s truly beautiful and very peaceful. Its a 10 min scooter ride to erawan National falls and the hotel can sort this for you. If you need to get back to Kanchanaburi you can get the bus for 60 baht (£1.47). The room was large, the beds were comfy and the air con was great. I do not know how people could stay in other raft accommodation without air con / electricity as it’s 27 degrees at night! It was also the first accommodation I’ve stayed in this week in Thailand that had hot water for the shower. 10/10

Natee The Riverfront Hotel Kanchanaburi sijaitsee Kanchanaburissa 1,8 km:n päässä Kwai-joen sillalta. I only stayed one night, but wish I could have stayed longer. I didn’t get to use the pool but it looked soooo inviting! The room had stunning — breathtaking! — views of the water. I find jacuzzis a bit silly, but it was a beautiful one. The stone slab shower was even better in my opinion. Breakfast on the river was also delicious! We stayed the night after visiting Erawan Waterfalls. There are tourist restaurants all around the hotel, but the night market is only five minutes away and has a ton of amazing, cheap options!
