This was a beautiful place to stay, we spent 7 nights here and loved every minute of it. The property is a short 2-3min walk from the beach. The rooms are large and well furnished with all the basics you would find in a normal hotel/B&B in Europe. The bathroom is very big and the water pressure is really good. Hot water comes on quickly. The bed may be slightly on the firm side, but this didn’t bother us. The next best thing is the food! Breakfast is copious and delicious, but all the other meals are also very well prepared. Everything is fresh and tasty.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Kijani with our young children. Everything was perfect: beautiful design and views, a « desert island » feel on the beach, a stunning swimming pool with a very nice shallow area for kids. There is plenty of space so even if the hotel was fully booked it was always quiet and pleasant. The lovely staff made us feel at home. We 100% recommend it (it’s even more beautiful than on the pictures) and we will be back one day for sure!

Coffee was very good as well. Location is great in Paje, close to everything. Public beach is a 3 min walk from hotel. Staff is super friendly and hospitable, always trying to accommodate us. BIG thank you to Hassan, Mariam, and Peter for being amazing and making our stay so special.

The selection and quality of meals were exceptional. Leaving very early and got our breakfast at 4.30 AM - we appreciated it! The pool was clean, no complaints. The Zumba lecture with Lukman was great - should be announced more, we found the only announcement in the daily plan in our room. We liked the cocktail menu in the beach bar.

Having stayed here for 9 nights I can't thank enough the Blue Oyster staff. They here frendly, allways with a smile and make you feel like at home. Right in front of the beach, with a stunning view, we used to eat great breakfasts or just lying down on a confortable beech chair. This was the right choice for our stay in Zanzibar.

Everything about this stay was emacular. After a rough few days in the Serengeti it was an absolute dream to come to this resort, which felt like an oasis. We stayed here in bungalow on mid of the December for 4 nights . The resort is beautiful , the bungalow had everything we need . Nice room with private outside bathroom . The property is big , where you will have your own sun beds and shade with pool next to you to cool off . The bungalow's are not sounds proof if you know what i mean 😈 . The staff was excellent, they even made a nice dinner "African Style" set up at the Waka Waka restaurant for our last night upon the request . Everything outside the bungalow are on the sand so you can walk barefoot and feel the beach everytime you outside .

We had an incredible stay at Promised Land Lodge. it is paradise. Nice and chilled and good vibe at the bar. the staff are phenomenal. Definitely coming back again, cannot wait for the next visit. Thank you to everyone at the Lodge. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, the ocean, the service and the Lodge has so many lovely areas to relax with hammocks and loungers and a beautiful pool, lovely hot shower. The Villa is family friendly, clean and neat , having almost an entire kitchen is amazing..can accommodate all family needs perfectly. The entire hotel staff are super helpful and very easy to communicate with. A very relaxed place as they say in zanzibar "pole pole". Would highly recommend to families with kids for a short stay, has excellent swimming pool also..

We were upgraded to the Mawingu villa which was incredible! We had no reason to leave our villa which had a beautiful outdoor lounge looking out on the beach, a plunge pool, waterfall shower, and plenty of space. The architecture/design was very pleasant. We had amazing service from our dedicated staff member Mambo who organized our meals/space and always added a special touch. The food was phenomenal both healthy and delicious; we continuously looked forward to the next meal which was all covered in the package. They provided a list of additional activities and management went out of their way to help us plan a special day that worked for us; we enjoyed snorkeling, massages, and a sunset cruise. Once you consider everything provided in the package, we felt we received good value. Highly recommend!

The place is just beautiful and simple, which I liked very much. Access to beach was very easy and there’s also a pool with beach view if you’re not a fan of sea swimming. Everyone I met there was super friendly and accommodating, and to my surprise and excitement they have few adorable and friendly rescued pups 🥰 If you like nice live music, this is the place to be, because you’ll get to enjoy it here every Thursday, I think. Prices at the bar are reasonable and food was tasty. The place feels like home, and it’s definitely hard to leave 🥲

The location is awesome! The place is actually at the beach. The room was really good with a very nice bathroom that has a delightful walk-in shower. Every morning, they provided us with a delicious breakfast. We found Paje a beautiful place to stay and White Sands is just in the village where you can walk as well. The people that actually live there are really nice and welcoming. We think that where we stayed is the best place to stay in all the island. We want to return and we have friends that are going there this year.
