The hotel features a sun terrace and views of the sea. we have stayed in several hotels in zanzibar so I can say that this one was the best. Room neat and clean, air conditioning, usb plugs, large bathroom with cosmetics, luggage room. For 4 people the room was not big but it is important that the bathroom is very comfortable and large. Rich breakfasts for Zanzibar, you can order several dishes at once, e.g. omelette and pancakes. Water dispenser, tea and coffee and cookies available. pool large and clean. The hotel bar by the beach serves very good food and drink at reasonable prices

From the check-in day with a lovely reception with fresh juice and cool perfumed towels to refresh from the day heath, until the checkout, we felt immediately that this accomodation would be our favorite in Zanzibar! Everything that is there is made and taken care with love, joy and effort. It is beautifully imagined and created with vision. We slept wonderfully in the quietness of the place, and we had very relaxing days, we just used to go out to go to the beautiful beach (5min walking), we had everything we needed inside: a stunning restaurant literally in the giant and old baobab tree, where wood and illumination result in a perfect ambience to have dinner. The food was everyday fresh and delicious, very well prepared and served by the nicest staff ever! To burn the calories we used to go to the gym and meet with the resident little monkey, Mr. Bob! :) we had so much fun! To relax, we had some card games, domino, with the pool bar close to have a fresh drink. Finally, a word to Aisha the massage lady (yes, they also provide massage service!): we loved your work and thank you for relaxing us so much! :) For the owners, Sophie & Eric: we are very lucky to have been in your beautiful lodge and having the chance to meet you! The property is new, and the rooms were clean. The AC and fan made it comfortable to sleep at night. The seating area at the top of the building is a nice place to sit in shade. The best part for me is that the wifi was fast! It was by far the best wifi I had in my 3 weeks on the island.

Absolutely loved the experience, the room & everything. They will make sure you'll enjoy your holiday. I even prolonged my stay.

Also the pool and the exterior were beautiful and well preserved. We had dinner both nights of our stay and Chef James offered us delicious meals!

The most perfect place for a stay in Zanzibar, away from the crowd. The location is absolutely fabulous, with a view and access to the beach. The rooms are amazing as well. Most relaxing place I know on the planet. Locally built, owned an run lodge in a not very developed part of Zansibar. Not for people who wants parties and beach life, but if you're after beautifull surrondings, friendly environment and comfy, relaxing days this place is highly recommended. Food selection is a little limited, room standard is not european, and its about as remote as you get on Zansibar, but none of this matters to me.

It's really really nice! We stayed in eco bungalow and had an amazing beach/ ocean view. The location really couldn't be better - right at the beach. Stuff is nice, sometimes they look tired but with this heat there you can't blame them. There are sun-beds on the beach, showers and towels (collected at the reception, free of charge)ready to use and cocktail bar with great drinks. Overall really great stay.

The apartment was really spacious and quite literally a stones' throw from the beach. The staff were excellent in all aspects and always happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Special mentions go to Diana, Hope, Hans and Shimsa for making our stay there special. The breakfasts were basic but good, and you can order eggs (boiled, scrambled, poached, omlette) which were really tasty. The lunch/dinner options are also very good and there is the option of room service. Highly recommend the live music evenings which also has a BBQ and buffet with local food.
