The location was ideal and because it's a gated community, there is access to restaurants, including one that is near the beachfront/ reef coral. Across this street when you get out of the gated community, there is a mall, and you can do some shopping at the supermarket and dine at another restaurant next to a coffee shop. The location is really convenient. Fumba town gives you a chance to also live like a local, and it's easy to meet other foreigners there who can give you more information on how to go about seeing different places. We met so many other foreigners who actually lived there, ate with them, socialized with them, and got recommendations from them. The hosts checked up on us and we're easy to contact.

Fumba Beach Lodge is set on the secluded Fumba beach peninsula within the Menai beach conservation area. It features a spa, swimming pool and a private beach area. Beautiful & quiet setting 30 minutes South of Stone town. Easy to reach yet away from all the other tourist, hustle and hustlers. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was excellent, the service was super friendly, the setting spectacular.

Located within 7.3 km of Peace Memorial Museum and 8.2 km of Hamamni Persian Baths, Shivo Guest House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kiembi Samaki. Humble and kind staff, very helpful. Love the room that was big a cosy and their pillows very soft and nice too both sit and sleep. Love the pancakes ( chapati) and also have nice food.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Kwale Residence is a recently renovated homestay situated in Kiembi Samaki, 6.1 km from Peace Memorial Museum. The host and the staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and felt like home.we enjoyed stone town because of this residence.

Anayah House is situated in Kiembi Samaki, 6.8 km from Hamamni Persian Baths, 7.1 km from St Joseph's Roman Catholic Cathedral, and 7.1 km from Cinema Afrique. The hosts and of course Anayah were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a 4am check-in and was left with little yellow ducks to find our way to the room, without disturbing anyone. Close to the airport, walking distance even with luggages.

Offering garden views, Mama's House is an accommodation situated in Kibweni, 7.2 km from Peace Memorial Museum and 6.2 km from Cinema Afrique. The owner and his family were friendly and very helpful. He even helped us organised trips all around zanzibar. The breakfast was also good and diverse. We were always surprised by something different.
