Situated in Moshi, 44 km from Mount Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro Scenic Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. There is a beautiful garden and restaurant. The food was impeccable, both dinner and breakfast. Also the neighbourhood is quiet, allowing us to have a good night rest. Furthermore we went for a day trip with Gabriel to the Materuni Waterfall, Coffee making workshop and the hotsprings. It was well organised and had lots of fun!

Kilimanjaro from my room at this sunny day. Very friendly staff! The pool was super clean like the the rest of the hotel too. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and to sit at the bar is amazing! All together a very, very nice hotel with a high standard for a good price. Very recommended!

I really liked this place - the rooms were spacious -the staff was amazing - the food in the restaurant was good for the good price - the internet worked fine compared to other places in the area - they even prepared a full breakfast for me at 5:30 am before my departure to Nairobi. Many thanks! Everything I could ask for after my Kilimanjaro climb. I can recommend this place for your stay in Moshi.

This was one of my favorite places to stay in Africa. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place had a very pleasant atmosphere. The view of Kilimanjaro from the restaurant was also amazing!

First stop in mainland Tanzania and was just spectacular. Mille took care of all of our needs, cars, trips even my husband's dairy free birthday cake. Food was vegan/vegetarian and delicious at a fair price. Wifi worked great. Had a generator so that even when the power went out it came back on almost immediately.

We stayed here one night before hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and two nights when we finished the hike. We would definitely recommend at least a two night rest after the hike! We were a bit ill from the hike so it was an excellent place to rest and recover, the staff would check in on how we were and there is a pharmacy a short walk down the lane too (if required). We really liked how it was quiet, set in a garden (monkeys, birds and tortoises are often around to watch) and a little away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Moshi- it was a lovely small lodge great for avoiding large big built up hotels. The pool area was kept really clean and tidy with plenty of loungers for all guests. There were plenty of other seating options around too, including private table and chairs by your room. The beds in the room were super comfortable with mosquito nets and a fan that kept you at a good temperature. It was nice to have the communal areas open air with traditional roofed ‘gazebos’. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind. There was an area you can securely leave your main/large bags if needed and there is a laundry service. The food was tasty, with vegetarian options, we tried to burgers, pizzas and evening meals (this was a small menu that they put on a chalk board for you to choose from in advance). The evening meal food is super tasty! The breakfast was just alright, as it was a buffet-style which isn’t how we would prefer it.

The accommodation was really nice, everything was clean and food was delicious. Also the owner was super friendly, he picked us up from Moshi in 2am from bus station.
