It's a great place to stay before and after doing the Ha Giang loop. It was easy to rent a motorcycle from them, the bike was in good condition, they gave us advice about the best route and things to see along the way. It's easy to communicate through WhatsApp. We had a midnight check in and they kindly waited for us. The breakfast is good, an egg sandwich, coffee, two pancakes and fresh orange juice.

Super clean bungalow, very friendly staff, broad variety of food options. Also loved the location in the middle of nature surrounded by fields. We can fully recommend this experience. Waterfalls within walking distance, best to go there in the early morning - 8am at the latest - to have a swim before groups come around.

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. This hotel has a bit distance from main street but not noisy and has good scenery around. I stayed here while being back from Dong van and continued to Ha giang by a cabin bus on next day. I got a reservation by myself a bus but worried about picking me up at hotel or not. When I asked about this to the hotel owner, he called to the bus company instead of me and made the pick up service at hotel sure. Actually the pick up van stopped at main road, but the owner brought me to the point by his motorbike. .

Best resort experience, deserves a two night stay but one night was enough for us to cherish the place. The staff were very helpful especially the young lady vien who helped us with the route to reach ha giang even after checking out from their resort. She was constantly in touch through watsapp making sure that we were taking the right roads because the main roads shown in Google maps were under repair.

We stayed at the Pheonix Hotel in Ha Giang for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, the staff were highly efficient and extremely helpful. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river and the view was excellent. The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.
