The view from the overwater bungalow is great. We were welcome by a turtle swimming by. The facilities are enough to survive within the resort itself without going outside. The santury is superb for leisure snorkling and swimming. We felt welcome by the staff on the beach and restaurants.

The prices of food and beverages are good and there are a few other options of restaurants really close to the resort. My husband and I spent 8 days there and loved each one of them!

I think probably the best overwater villa I've stayed in. Large, lots of thoughtful touches. The setting is incredibly beautiful. Quality of food at the restaurants is excellent; breakfast selection is very good and pastries especially are top notch

The overwater bungalow was a dream , the staff and service were impeccable , the feeling of seclusion and views of mt otemanu were breathtaking

Le Maitai Polynesien ligger i den sydlige del af Bora Bora på Matira Point-stranden. Excellent, big room, with a fridge and nice huge balcony. Tropical landscaping all around. Local hotel beach (on lagoon) right across the road, restaurant on site where you can eat on the beach. Excellent breakfast! The hotel provided transportation to/from Vaitape. Matira beach is walkable. A small store is walkable. Touring/snorkelling in the lagoon and nearby ocean are exceptional! Hotel has their own small pier, which is great to do some stargazing, enjoying the amazing trade winds (it faces roughly east) and the lagoon/motu views.
