Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge ligger 47 km fra Japan Ukiyo-e Museum og tilbyder indkvartering med balkon samt have og fælles opholdsstue. Extremely friendly staff. Great attention to detail. And the food is amazing (by far the best we have had in Japan).

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Beautiful old ryokan with super friendly and helpful team; quality service (the pickup from the train station, the drive to the monkey park); delicious food and superb cappuccino. Really enjoyed the traditional rooms (sleeping on futons) and the relaxed atmosphere in the ryokan. And not to forget: access to the 9 onsen baths as a guest of the ryokan. Try them all, walking towards them in traditional Japanese yukata and gets. Enjoyed every second of being here!

Hotel Fuki no Mori ligger 20 minutters kørsel fra JR Nagiso Station med hotellets gratis transport. Gæsterne kan gå tur i haven eller i de naturskønne områder omkring hotellet. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful with a mix of interesting and tasty food. It looked beautiful too. The onsen was amazing with wonderful facilities. We particularly enjoyed the outside onsen in the early morning. We paid for an evening meal( there was nowhere else to go anyway) and it was wonderful. Such interesting and beautifully presented food. Our waiter explained what everything was.

Yorozuya ligger 7 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og byder på varme kilder, spabad samt værelser i japansk stil med egen terrasse og eget badeværelse. Excellent all round. Lovely rooms, amazing onsens and the staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Food was exceptional too.

Oshi Ryokan ligger blot 5 minutters gang fra den historiske Togakushi-helligdom og tilbyder traditionel indkvartering i det fredelige bjergområde, der brugte til pilgrimme. Everything’s so perfect ~~ The owner Oshi San was super helpful. The room is spacious and with view overlooking a garden. It’s so lovely with a green view in summer. It’s a quiet location so I sleep pretty well. And the meals prepared are Fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. [heart].

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya ligger blot 10 minutters kørsel fra Snow Monkey Park og tilbyder enkel japansk indkvartering med gratis WiFi. Akira and his mother were incredibly accommodating and made us feel at home. They made me dinner and breakfast (gluten free and vegetarian) which was amazing. Their private Onsen is lovely and the room was really comfortable. Would highly recommend

Kadowakikan ligger 3 minutters gang fra skisportsstedet Nozawa Onsen og tilbyder ski til dør-adgang, varmt kildebad og gratis wi-fi. Mr. Kadowakikan was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the shuttle bus stop. He helped us order rental ski/snowboard equipment to the hotel. The hotel's own onsen was very clean and more comfortable than the town's free onsens.

Tawaraya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og tilbyder indkvartering i japansk stil med gratis WiFi og fladskærms-tv. This is an amazing place to visit. The staff are so helpful and nice. The outdoor onsen is fantastic, and we loved that we could reserve a private time there. The large sleeping/livingroom is super place to sleep and relax.
