Mitsubikiya er nýuppgert og er til húsa í sögulegri byggingu. Boðið er upp á gistirými með garði og ókeypis WiFi. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 800 metra frá Matsumoto-stöðinni. Rooms were clean and spacious, toilet was clean. We opted for the special dinner and was not disappointed!

Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge er staðsett 47 km frá Japan Ukiyo-e-safninu og býður upp á gistingu með svölum, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. Extremely friendly staff. Great attention to detail. And the food is amazing (by far the best we have had in Japan).

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Beautiful old ryokan with super friendly and helpful team; quality service (the pickup from the train station, the drive to the monkey park); delicious food and superb cappuccino. Really enjoyed the traditional rooms (sleeping on futons) and the relaxed atmosphere in the ryokan. And not to forget: access to the 9 onsen baths as a guest of the ryokan. Try them all, walking towards them in traditional Japanese yukata and gets. Enjoyed every second of being here!

Hotel Fuki no Mori er í 20 mínútna akstursfjarlægð með ókeypis skutlu hótelsins frá JR Nagiso-lestarstöðinni. Gestir geta farið í göngutúr í garðinum eða á fallegu svæðunum í kringum hótelið. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful with a mix of interesting and tasty food. It looked beautiful too. The onsen was amazing with wonderful facilities. We particularly enjoyed the outside onsen in the early morning. We paid for an evening meal( there was nowhere else to go anyway) and it was wonderful. Such interesting and beautifully presented food. Our waiter explained what everything was.

Yorozuya er í 7 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á heit hveraböð, heitan pott og herbergi í japönskum stíl með einkaverönd og sérbaðherbergi. Excellent all round. Lovely rooms, amazing onsens and the staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Food was exceptional too.

Oshi Ryokan er staðsett í aðeins 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá sögulega Togakushi-helgistaðnum. Það er hefðbundin gisting á friðsæla fjallasvæðinu, þar sem pílagrímar voru vanir að koma til móts við. Everything’s so perfect ~~ The owner Oshi San was super helpful. The room is spacious and with view overlooking a garden. It’s so lovely with a green view in summer. It’s a quiet location so I sleep pretty well. And the meals prepared are Fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. [heart].

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya er í aðeins 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Snow Monkey Park og býður upp á einföld gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi. Akira and his mother were incredibly accommodating and made us feel at home. They made me dinner and breakfast (gluten free and vegetarian) which was amazing. Their private Onsen is lovely and the room was really comfortable. Would highly recommend

Kadowakikan er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Nozawa Onsen-skíðadvalarstaðnum og býður upp á beinan aðgang að skíðabrekkunum, heitt hverabað og ókeypis WiFi. Mr. Kadowakikan was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the shuttle bus stop. He helped us order rental ski/snowboard equipment to the hotel. The hotel's own onsen was very clean and more comfortable than the town's free onsens.

Tawaraya er í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi og flatskjá. This is an amazing place to visit. The staff are so helpful and nice. The outdoor onsen is fantastic, and we loved that we could reserve a private time there. The large sleeping/livingroom is super place to sleep and relax.
