Very clean onsen (you can lock the door of onsen, so it is kind of a private onsen!)

Okuyado Buaiso has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Yufu, 41 km from Oita Bank Dome. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Oita Bank Dome and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. the room was spacious and quiet. the kitchen was large and well stocked. the whole home was super clean. the owner was super friendly. this place is in Kannawa which is the main onsen location in Beppu. all the onsens are within walking distance.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma is situated in Yufu, 43 km from Oita Bank Dome and 1.8 km from Kinrinko Lake. Absolutely amazing onsen. A definite top 5 for me. We got the room with a private one and it was simply so amazing to have that within seconds of your room. Also it felt like the water in the private in room onsens had much more minerals than the large one but the large one is well worth a stay too as it feels so free to be the only one there and gazing upon the mountains as you bathe.

Assi in Yufu provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. The property features garden and inner courtyard views, and is 43 km from Oita Bank Dome. Lovely place! Outstanding hospitality and breakfast, plus a quirky but nice cat who even comes with a separate user guide 🥰 very comfortable room that was clean and tastefully decorated (I got a western style room because that was the only one left, but the Japanese ones also looked beautiful). Washing facilities and restrooms also great. The Onsen and shower facilities are outside, the Onsen was nice but not very warm since the springs seem to be a bit cooler than elsewhere. Still okay and no problem booking it privately. Note: shower facilities are not available in winter, so you have to keep that in mind. Cat: quirky, chatty, adorable and playful but, as most cats are she has a mind of her own. Not a huge cuddle bug but peaceful and comes over eventually. I'll definitely come back next year!

Ikkoten ligger i Yufu, 3,3 km fra Yufuin motorsykkelmuseum, og har terrasse, felles salong, hage og gratis privat parkering. Loved the traditional ryokan vibe and the scenery. Loved the kaiseiki breakfast.

Okuhita Onsen Umehibiki ligger i Hita og har restaurant, treningssenter, bar og hage. Denne 5-stjerners-ryokanen har døgnåpen resepsjon og tilbyr bagasjeoppbevaring. This is my best accommodation experience in Japan over the years. They made every effort to ensure that guests understood the hotel's details and services, even though not all of the staff spoke foreign languages fluently. Comfortable rooms, breathtaking views, and a personal hot spring are highlights. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. A dedicated private room was available during dinner. Visit again for sure.

Situated 41 km from Kinrinko Lake, Sanso Tensui offers 4-star accommodation in Hita and features an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace. I could write a novel about the excellence of Sanso Tensui and it's staff. From the moment we arrived at the train station and were welcomed, to seeing the property and being awe struck, to checking in and seeing our room, and everything in between, we were absolutely in love with Sanso Tensui and glad we decided to stay here. The onsen (private and public) are incredible. Many are near waterfalls or are immersed in nature. I spent many hours in the baths, or reading on the patio surrounded by nature. Every staff member was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food was incredible, not just in taste but in presentation. I honestly am so overwhelmed with how incredible it was that I don't even know what else to write. All I can say, I wish I could stay there forever. It was the perfect way to relax, unwind and refresh my brain. I can't wait to come back.

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Outstanding facility with attentive staff

AMANE resort GAHAMA features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 24 km of Oita Bank Dome and 4.4 km of Beppu Station. The staff are excellent . The location is best one in Beppu . The hotel room is outstanding. The dinner and breakfast are excellent too. A good quality and well designed hotel . It is the best hotel to stay in Beppu and likely best in Kyushu. I highly recommend
