Location. Cleanliness of the rooms. Hot showers. We met the lovely owners Fraser and Hayley and had a great chat. Like catching up with good old school mates.
Surrounded by native bush, Honeysuckle Cottages each feature a log fireplace and free on-site parking. Guests receive a free country-style breakfast basket upon arrival.

The cottage was very quaint and had everything we could need. The kids loved the choice of board games and the breakfast basket was very generous with lovely local produced goodies.

We loved the chicks behind the accommodation and the lamb and kid my daughter was able to feed. We collected chicken and duck eggs. Enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting all the animals (chickens, cows, lambs, sheep, pigs, goats, kids, guinea fowl and wild wallabies and birds).
Relaxing holiday for families who enjoy outdoors. Close to Girraween National Park, and a beautiful walk along the river through the middle of town. The Christmas Tree Farm is an enchanting place to visit at any time of the year. We have been to Stanthorpe a few times and love being in a country town away from the city for a while. Food is great! Whether eating at a pub or a local restaurant you’ll get a lovely meal that is great value for money too. The wineries and boutique food producers are fun places to go to as well. It is impossible to say no to a lot of their products - we couldn’t anyway! There is a museum there but we’re saving it for the next time we visit.😊

A widespread choice of activities related to wine and fruit and cheese but with disparate activities such as breathtaking National Park walks within a short drive, a fantastic Christmas Farm that is definitely worth a visit and an overall selection of top shelf dining experiences but with all tastes catered for. The Granite Belt Brewery had incredibly good food, the cheeses were outstanding, as our cool bag can attest. We will be back, and soon, as there is so much more to see. Lovely people too.

Stanthorpe and surrounds are just lovely (especially in the cooler months) with food and wine tours, art and crafts, antiques and more. People are friendly and there is lots to see. Locals even recommended other towns and points of interest to visit (like Warwick and Tenterfield), markets and places to explore. Girraween National Park, Donnelly’s Castle are great spots to check out the massive and precarious boulders - a spectacular natural feature of the area. Cafe at Ballandean St Jude’s Cellar Door and Bistro made a delicious Sunday breakfast - busy with locals, bike riders, and visitors alike (quite busy). Tried to get into a couple of restaurants in Stanthorpe town but they were booked out (Anna’s Italian Restaurant came recommended, but we missed out)! Have been back to the region over they years and always find something new to see or do… but also enjoy returning to some favourite spots.

Most attractions we visited met our expectations.
Most attractions we visited met our expectations. Stanthorpe has a wide range of wineries, spectacular national parks, a wonderful Christmas shop ( trees as well) and a visit in winter is extra nice. I
Our stay exceeded our expectations and we intend to re-visit early next year with some friends. We have also already recommended your Estate to some of our friends who are intending to visit Stanthorpe in the next month or two.
The cabin was extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay and relaxed and recharged. Sitting on the front verandah in the afternoon watching the sun set over the vineyard was our highlight. We really loved the fire!!! to take off the chill. All in all - 5/5!! Thank you!
Thank you for providing such a beautiful cottage for our stay in Stanthorpe. Cedar Cottage felt like a home away from home and it made our visit to meet my new baby niece all that more special and memorable for our family. The kids loved the bedrooms, the DVD and board game options and marshmallows by the fire pit. We loved the spacious living area, large backyard, beautiful garden, quietness and the central location.
We hope to visit and stay again soon!
Our Honeysuckle cottage was a great setup and spacious cottage. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed riding around Stanthorpe, great way to see the area and the riding roads are very good (lots minor roads). On arrival we received an enormous and fabulous basket of breakfast foods for our stay – eggs, bacon, jams, bakery, cereal, coffee… wow! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
Nice place to visit!
Beautiful accommodation conveniently located only ten minutes drive out of Stanthorpe township yet far enough to feel a world away on a lovely peaceful acreage.
Lovely host and staff, friendly and welcoming. You are also given complete privacy if you want it. I stayed in the granny flatclose to the main house. There is also a beautifully renovated cottage which separated from the other two.
Location is very convenient and close to the main street of Stanthorpe but in a quiet neighbourhood , the house was beautiful and spotlessly clean , but also perfectly appointed with everything you need including board games and books , even a BBQ on the large deck along with an outdoor table setting and a fire pit outside
The room was clean and everything in the our unit was new. Everything was chosen greatly to match the colour and the vibe. I'd say it is a hotel rather than a motel! The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The sheets were very clean and new. 3 air cons in a two bedroom unit, 3 TV's,...excellent
Cute cabins with wood fire place inside. Tranquil and quiet amongst the trees. Great shower with very hot water for cold days. Good heater in the room too. Very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast box. Easy access to the brewery for a drink and a meal.
A great little cottage, with a view not too far from Stanthorpe; well equipped and came with a super breakfast hamper which included fresh local bread, juice, muesli and spreads. The owners were very friendly and helpful with tourist information.
The owners provided good instructions and the keys were easy to access. The cottage was centrally located and easy to get around Stanthorpe. Good value for money for a family. Kitchen well stocked.
Elegance! Everything you need to enjoy cooking including a beautiful fireplace in both kitchen and living room. Wish we could have stayed much longer. And Stanthorpe is such a beautiful little town.
Great location, close to Stanthorpe and Girraween! Loved the fire place, super clean cabins, would be a great place to stay with lots of friends/family and enjoy your own space. Lovely wine too!
What breakfast? A fruit bowl would have been nice . The fruit on the table was plastic.
An interesting old-style cottage experience.
Central location to visit Stanthorpe attractions.
Robert was great and friendly and looked after us. Stanthorpe is a hidden Gem in QLD, with Giraween national park down the road, wineries, cheese tasting and a maze to get lost in.
