It is located close to everything: bars, restaurants, shops, supermarket, the market, cafes and the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and the beds and pillows super comfortable. Nice-size shower, as well. The Receptionists were extremely friendly and helped me with lots of information, specially since it was a National Holiday and I was not aware that lots of services were not running as usual, so they helped me to prepare and this saved my days as I had to be in BC on time for my flight, they even helped to print out my boarding pass!!!!

Conveniently located a short walk from downtown San Ignacio, Rolson Hotel offers comfortable accommodations and free WiFi access. The hotel was great and the staff were lovely and really helpful. Our room was big and clean. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and helped us book in some tours. The restaurant at the hotel had really great food - we ate there most of the time (breakfast, lunches & dinners). It was about a 25min walk down hill to town but you could taxi back for 8-10 Pesos. The pool was relaxing and clean as well. I would stay here again for sure.

Would recommend 2 or 3 nights here as a base camp for exploring the Cayo district of Belize. Lots of interesting excursions within 1 hour of town. The town itself is nice and laid back with some good, casual restaurant options.
San Ignacio is full of adventurous things to do and wonderful places to meet up and socialize with other tourists and Belizeans. Lots of friendly and helpful people. Ease of communication because of Belize being an English speaking (as well as many other languages!) country! San Ignacio seems to be the center of eco-tourism in the Cayo district. Eva's is my favorite place to eat delicious stewed chicken and rice and beans!
The Mayan are and were an amazing culture. I love visiting this ruin every time I travel to the Cayo District in Belize, Central America.
San Ignacio
Perfect location, nice spacious garden and a great atmosphere that fits in San Ignacio perfectly. But, most important, the owners are a wonderful couple, helpful and truly concerned about the satisfaction of their customers. When going to Belize, don't just stay at the coast or the Cayes, make sure you visit San Ignacio, Cayo and stay at Mana Kai!
San Ignacio
Beautiful property in the middle of the Belizean jungle- impeccable service, delicious food, beautiful lodging, great outdoor activities either onsite or close by. If you are going to Belize, you should schedule a few days in the Cayo district to enjoy the nature, adventure, and history. And this is absolutely the place to stay if you can get in.
San Ignacio
Claudia & Frank have built an amazing oasis in the hills of the Cayo District. The food was some of the best we have ever had. Everything is locally sourced. The cabins were clean and well appointed.the pool was wonderful after a day of exploring. I highly recommend booking at Vanilla Hills!
The staff was excellent. Very attentive in trying to address any need that I had.
The sunset view was spectacular, the main pool was great, excellent for swimming laps. The second pool was half empty, perhaps for insurance reasons as it was unattended. Landscaping was incredible. The room was excellent, the bathroom is amazing, and the A/C worked great. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful.
It's a beautiful area decorated and planed with love. It's green and a beautiful pool is in the garden Sometimes a horse.
The resort far exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever stayed and unfortunately we could only stay one night because of availability. We would gladly have extended our stay. We had a river side room with private patio, and there were fish and ducks swimming right outside. The room was very large and private and I loved the Nepresso coffee maker! The grounds were immaculately groomed and luscious with vegetation and flowers. We enjoyed the pool and also kayaking on the river. Don't pass it up if you have the chance to stay!
The views from this hotel are stunning. The staff, especially Alicia and Miguel are extremely friendly and helpful. Miguel organised tours and transfers for me The pools are lovely, as is the onsite cafe and dining room.
Amazing location.. amazing views.. amazing people! We loved everything about our stay! The staff were very helpful and supportive with advice on activities to be done; we rented bikes and did a tour to the waterfall. Would definitely recommend the hike, breakfast in the room (which is foc), a visit to the Guatemalan restaurant <3 and the hot pool!
The staff was very attentive and friendly.
Perfect location. Just remember you’re in the jungle, so there will be sounds at night. We spent 3 nights in the most remote cabin, we were the only ones in the hotel, so it was just us in the nature. Plenty of hummingbirds flowing around the hibiscus, we saw a group of wild little pigs one morning just under our window, lots of fireflies every evening at dusk on our way to the restaurant… quite magical. The vegetation is luscious, with lots of flowers and trees. There’s everything you need in the cabins, from water dispensers to mosquito sprays (we even had a hammock in our cabin!). The mosquito / bug isolation of the cabin is pretty thorough, but the bed mosquito net offers extra protection. The cabins are very spacious. There was a few fans. Shower worked fine. We enjoyed tubing / bathing in the river along the estate. With the free bikes provided you can ride to the chocolate farm grab an iced coffee or cycle to the blue hole, which are very nearby. The hotel also offers a variety of tours / activity. We did the nearby cave tour. The food was delicious. It’s a set menu but there’s hasn’t been one meal prepared by the cook we didn’t like / finish. The staff was so helpful and kind. Lots of little attentions, like flower petals in our room at arrival or for our last diner… and anything to make our stay more enjoyable. And after speaking to the staff, we found out that it’s a non profit place, and they’re actually helping local students. All in all, it was an amazingly relaxing stay, and it felt even better knowing you’re helping the local community by staying there.
I loved the natural environment and the delicious food and the very friendly staff. Above all, Ms Chena is di best hostess ever!
next to the river, out from the main town. The hotel itself was very good, with spacious rooms.
