Great hotel in the heart of Whitehorse - it's close to everything! We LOVE Belly of the Bison and it helps that since it's open only for dinner, there is Baked across the street, which is an AMAZING cafe! Housekeeping also did a great job every day refilling supplies and keeping the rooms clean.

Room on 2nd floor. A dark, not so modern Livingroom fully equipped with: dining table, TV+cabinet, relax-chair, writing-working-desk, sleepcouch. ~8m2 free floorspace left. Full kitchenette, stove, magnetron, Nespresso, toaster and a mega fridge.
Bedroom with great storage space and one mediumsize bed. Bedroom is the only room with a window!
Shower and bath okay, however cold, due ventilation is stronger than the heating.

I had a discussion with the receptionist first evening and a satisfactory talk after the 3rd night at check-out. For me all below mentioned minor is cleared and resolved, however just want to mention this to create awareness.
BTW the dog liked the cookies gift from the reception very well.

Easy check in and check out. We managed to get a free parking spot.
Located within 2.2 km of S.S. Klondike National Historic Site and 10 km of Miles Canyon Suspension Bridge, Destination Family Hotel provides rooms in Whitehorse.
Staff on reception were helpful
Room was satisfactory but bathroom was not cleaned daily and beds were only made once on a 3 day visit
As there is a limited choice of hotels in Whitehorse I feel they are complacent

Amazing views, friendly people, and also a good place for people who love the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, camping during the spring and summer seasons. Very short days during the winters, and sometimes gets very cold.

Listen, if Booking.com will not stand up for its customers then they will not last very long. This place was horrible! Yet they are making us pay for it anyway when we could not even stay in the building! This is unacceptable!

This was a really fun trip.
This was a really fun trip. We visited for a week with three kids, ages 10, 8 and 5. Whitehorse is a tourist city. That being said, the bar and restaurant scene in the Yukon is geared towards young solo travellers and couples with lots of disposable income and no young kids. While it was a great experience, with the age of my family, if I were to do this trip over I would not have concentrated so much on hitting all the unique restaurants as every lunch and every supper ended up costing more than $120, even when we were trying to be frugal. This really added to the cost of the trip. Rather than trying to hit all the restaurants, if travelling with young kids I would recommend sticking with the familiar chain restaurants like Subway, A&W and McDonalds for lunches when out-and-about. You should be able to save a ton of money by taking most of your breakfasts and suppers at the apartment. (Go to the grocery store and buy the quick staples like frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, and things you know your kids will eat. The really great thing about the Yukon is the scenery, so I highly recommend getting out road trips to Haines Junction, Skagway, Watson Lake, Dawson, Carcross, etc. Do some hiking and walking around. Leave the restaurants and the bar scene to those who will appreciate it more.

Whitehorse is located by the Yukon River and by the mountains so at Lookout Mountain you can view the community of Riverdale. Spectacular scenery. About 10 minute ride to Miles Canyon and a suspension bridge. So beautiful. Museum has a lot of historical items and the history of the Klondike and Gold Rush!
Only downside was the Paddlewheeler wasn't operational until end of June.
Very quite and comfortable room and bed.
The host Marcel was always helping me if I needed a recommendation or advice for traveling the area (e.g. hiking advices).
He knows the place for a very long time, is very open-minded and likes to share stories and recommendations for Whitehorse, Yukon and Canada as a whole.
I had many interesting conversations with him and it was nothing but a pleasure staying there!
Thanks again, Marcel!
Bluejay Suites is a beautiful B&B with warm and welcoming hosts. The rooms are wonderful with comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms. The communal space is large and tastefully decorated. I loved every moment I was there. Reiko and Sascha are wonderful people who were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a call before booking to chat about what's happening in Whitehorse during your stay.
Nice, if not necessarily elegant, accommodations, the room and building were clean and well kept. Staff was exceptional. After a LONG day traveling the Alaska Highway, this hotel was a welcome and much appreciated place to stay the night. It is also very convenient to downtown locations.
I arrived early and was able to stow my bag for a few hours while I took a walk around Whitehorse. The property is convenient to downtown. They upgraded me to a room in a new townhouse building that was very nice and extremely quiet. Plus the bedding was terrific!
Restaurant was closed when I landed in Whitehorse
Free breakfast could be an asset
Very convenient hotel for late night landing (right next to the airport)
The room was clean and the staff very helpful.
Overall a good experience, only stayed one night.
I love the location of this rental, it was beautiful there. We enjoyed how clean everything was. We were very satisfied with the ease of access and how close it was to downtown. It fit way more than just two of us, great for a family stay.
Great amenities during our three night stay.
Good value and location.
Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Midnight Sun Inn for others who travel to Whitehorse, Yukon.
Our room was comfortable and equipped with a kettle and coffee maker. The hotel is newly renovated so it has a ‘boutique’ vibe to it. I also highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant.
The location was great in the downtown area. The room was clean and comfortable. Plan to stay here again in a couple of weeks on our way back from Alaska.
