Great hotel in the heart of Whitehorse - it's close to everything! We LOVE Belly of the Bison and it helps that since it's open only for dinner, there is Baked across the street, which is an AMAZING cafe! Housekeeping also did a great job every day refilling supplies and keeping the rooms clean.

Midnight Sun Inn, hotel in Whitehorse

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Midnight Sun Inn is situated in Whitehorse. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms include a flat-screen TV.

I have stayed at The Midnight Sun Inn several times, as it suits me perfectly when I come up to Whitehorse for work. Central location, easy access to groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The rooms are spacious, with private full bathroom, mini fridge, some with microwave as well, impeccably clean throughout, beds are very comfortable. There is access to a kitchen, laundry facility, and lounge, all this giving it the homey feel that I have come to appreciate, compared to staying in a hotel. The host, Anson, is easy to reach when needed and always very accommodating.

Best Western Gold Rush Inn, hotel in Whitehorse

One block from the S.S. Klondike Historic Site and Old Log Church Yukon Museum, this rustic hotel is located in downtown Whitehorse. It features an on-site saloon and a gym.

Room on 2nd floor. A dark, not so modern Livingroom fully equipped with: dining table, TV+cabinet, relax-chair, writing-working-desk, sleepcouch. ~8m2 free floorspace left. Full kitchenette, stove, magnetron, Nespresso, toaster and a mega fridge. Bedroom with great storage space and one mediumsize bed. Bedroom is the only room with a window! Shower and bath okay, however cold, due ventilation is stronger than the heating. <> I had a discussion with the receptionist first evening and a satisfactory talk after the 3rd night at check-out. For me all below mentioned minor is cleared and resolved, however just want to mention this to create awareness. BTW the dog liked the cookies gift from the reception very well.

The McBride Museum is worth a visit.

The McBride Museum is worth a visit. Very interesting displays about the history of the Yukon. Be sure to have lots of time to take it all in. Downtown is delightful, with a lovely plaza and sitting area along the river. Lots of nice little restaurants to suit every palate and budget too. Miles Canyon is a few minutes south of town and worth a visit as well. Take a short or long hike there. It's beautiful! Other places I've visited that are worth visiting: Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Eclipse Spa and Hotspring (book online and it's cheaper), Yukon Beringia Centre, Yukon Transportation Museum. If you fly to Whitehorse, try to book on Air North. It's much better than Westjet and Air Canada, and they actually give you a meal with a WARM chocolate chip cookie!

Amazing views, friendly people, and also a good place for people who love the outdoors. Fishing, hiking, camping during the spring and summer seasons. Very short days during the winters, and sometimes gets very cold.

Listen, if Booking.com will not stand up for its customers then they will not last very long. This place was horrible! Yet they are making us pay for it anyway when we could not even stay in the building! This is unacceptable!

This was a really fun trip.

This was a really fun trip. We visited for a week with three kids, ages 10, 8 and 5. Whitehorse is a tourist city. That being said, the bar and restaurant scene in the Yukon is geared towards young solo travellers and couples with lots of disposable income and no young kids. While it was a great experience, with the age of my family, if I were to do this trip over I would not have concentrated so much on hitting all the unique restaurants as every lunch and every supper ended up costing more than $120, even when we were trying to be frugal. This really added to the cost of the trip. Rather than trying to hit all the restaurants, if travelling with young kids I would recommend sticking with the familiar chain restaurants like Subway, A&W and McDonalds for lunches when out-and-about. You should be able to save a ton of money by taking most of your breakfasts and suppers at the apartment. (Go to the grocery store and buy the quick staples like frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, and things you know your kids will eat. The really great thing about the Yukon is the scenery, so I highly recommend getting out road trips to Haines Junction, Skagway, Watson Lake, Dawson, Carcross, etc. Do some hiking and walking around. Leave the restaurants and the bar scene to those who will appreciate it more.

It was clean and comfortable, giving me the feeling of being right at home! I've stayed at various condominiums before, but this was the first time I encountered a place that was so immaculate and well-maintained. The interior was modern and had a soothing, toned-down atmosphere, allowing me to truly relax. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Whitehorse.

It's very conveniently located, with restaurants around. Actually there is both a restaurant and a pub right next to the hotel. The check-in staff was quite friendly. The restaurant manager, a Chinese woman, was also there to chat! There are granola bars next to the coffee maker. This is the only hotel that have this in recent memory.

Smashing B&B, in a good location 20 minutes north of Whitehorse. The room was good, and would have been ideal for seeing the lights but for the cloud! But, we were so well looked after. Super supper with nice interesting company, Andrew, Maria and Ola who really looked after us. Brilliant breakfast. All round a super stay. Thanks.

The place was a nice private room, bath with TV, internet, yet you had opportunity to utilize a full kitchen, living area which would be shared with other guests. There was a washer,/ dryer ensuite for 2 loonies each... laundry detergent included. Location was convenient but everything in Whitehorse is close.

When getting off the plane after midnight, it was an easy walk across the highway to get to the hotel. Pillows and bedding were comfy and the modern shower was appreciated. Because of the late arrival they offred later check-out too, which was nice.
